BIOGRAPHIE

Artist

Marc PELTZER paints cities at night and fantasy nocturnal landscapes.
He always painted cities, even in his landscapes there are always human construction. He is involved in the relationship between man and nature, the place that human constructions take in the environment.

His paintings with landscapes are a search for a balance between man and nature, the cities that he represents must always integrate as well as possible to landscapes, they are the continuation.
They are made of stones and wood, they are part of nature, contrary to what we often see with the present towns that replace nature, which erases it to settle in its place.
The ecological problems encountered at present are surely due to the fact that man may have placed it above nature as if it did not exist, without taking account of the balances necessary for its functioning over the long term.

“My landscapes are a bit of a search for harmony between the human infrastructure and the nature from which it springs, the search for a perfect balance, but the more I paint landscapes the more I realize that there is An infinity of possible equilibrium.”
